Osborn airfield
Aircraft Enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome to land at our friendly country airfield. We are located in Central Florida between Orlando and Tampa, in the city of Groveland. Our wonderful weather here in Florida allows for numerous flying days. With great flying days and cheerful owners, people fly in often just to say hi. Most of the time we will come out to greet you personally. Our 3,700 foot lighted turf runway is hand cared for and is a welcoming site for all. We offer overnight, weekly, and monthly tie-downs; shade hangars; full hangars; 100LL (aviation fuel); facilities, and drinks are available. We are planning to build 28 nested T-hangars in the near future, read about it in the Airfield News section. Fly in and stay awhile. There are several Florida attractions (Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios), golf courses (Bay Hill, Mission Inn, Hunters Creek, Lake Highland Reserve), and beaches (Cocoa, St. Pete, Daytona Beach) nearby. Best of all, we are relatively close to the second largest fly-in in the world, Lakeland Florida’s “Sun n Fun Fly-in.” Fly in anytime for we enjoy striking up a conversation with new people.
